During a static fire test of a SpaceX Falcon9 rocket this morning, the second stage fuel tank ruptured, and caused a cascading set of explosions that destroyed all parts of the rocket and much of the launchpad.
USF Seismology has a seismic and infrasound site just 0.8 miles (1.4 km) from the explosion site. Glenn Thompson is reaching out to SpaceX to sell these data or provide a data analysis service to SpaceX.
