2017-02-17: Steve McNutt Takes part in Panel Discussion on REE's

On Friday February 17th Steve McNutt (left), PI of the Seismic Lab, joined Dorien McGee (right), USF alumni and Senior Petroleum Geologist for Exxon-Mobile, and Larry Meinert (center), editor of Economic Geology, in a panel discussion titled "Geologic Resources in the Future: Gold, Rare Earth Elements, and Oil." The panel was very well attended with over 60 members of the School of Geoscience in attendance, including faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students. The panel discussion was followed by lunch provided by Exxon-Mobile that allowed for the attendees to mingle and network with the panelists.
