2017-02-14: Update on Kennedy Space Center Project

This week two lab members, Glenn Thompson and Alex Farrell, were joined by fellow USF grad student Chris Mehta and traveled to Nasa Kennedy Space Center to update and add to our seismic and infrasound network. The goal of this project is three-fold: 1) to give graduate students hand on experience with instrument field deployment 2) to determine how to differentiate between different rocket types based on the seismic and infrasound signals that they generate and 3) to run large scale huddle tests of our equipment prior to field deployments in other locations.
